Two people in full body camouflage and masks, carrying guns and cameras, were discovered hiding on private property. The activists camping on the property stopped them escaping in an unknown car, by standing in the way, asking who they were, peering through the car windows to look for any identifiers. Regardless, the car speeds off hitting people who can be seen to slide up and are thrown off the bonnet.
The people in camouflage were police officers, from the 'State Surveillance Branch', though through the entirety of these proceedings their names and station have not been revealed.

Of the 11 people arrested and charged, 4 had their charges completely withdrawn, two of whom went to prison for 3 weeks following their arrest. The final sentences for the remaining 7 were fines and good behaviour bonds.

A law banning the salute and the display or sale of symbols associated with designated “terror” groups took effect on Monday.

The new regulations were a response by the Australian government to a rise in hate and anti-Semitic incidents in recent months, which have taken on new significance amid the Israel-Gaza war.

The legislation criminalises the sale and display of Nazi motifs including the swastika and lightning bolt insignia of the SS (Schutzstaffel), the paramilitary wing of the Nazi party.

Bomb squad officers have been called to a south Sydney home after an improvised explosive device was planted on the car of its pro-Palestinian residents.

The homemade device that appeared to be made of a jerry can with rags stuffed into it, a disposable lighter and large bolts was found on the vehicle’s bonnet in Botany on Friday afternoon.

The car was parked in the driveway of a home where the Palestinian flag and a board with statements about the Gaza war were displayed on the front fence.

A note taped to the side of the device read “Enough! Take down flag! One chance!!!!”

Explosions in Iran near the Kerman Martyrs Cemetery, where Qassem Soleimani is buried, on the anniversary of his death have left at least 211 dead according to latest reports

A Kerman district representative accused Israeli agents of carrying out the attack on Soleimani's tomb, the first elected representative to make such an attribution.

The US speculates that ISIS or a related group was responsible for the explosions near Soleimani's grave.
The US is awaiting more information, but officials believe it is unlikely that Israel is behind the blasts.

“Attorney Shimon Buchbut, a retired Air Force commander cited as an expert in the lawsuit, said that the IDF was negligent in giving approval for the party and that any reasonable official would not have allowed it to go ahead.

The claim cited reports following the massacre, which said senior officers in the Gaza Division expressed concerns over the party, and that the operations commander opposed it being held.

It also noted that Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar held consultations the night before, and even sent a special operations team to the border the night before the onslaught.

“On the night between October 6 and October 7, at least two IDF assessments were held due to unusual incidents on the Gaza Strip border, one near midnight and another assessment close to 3 a.m., several hours before the Hamas attack,” the lawsuit read.

Anat Ginzburg and Gilad Ginzburg, the plaintiff’s attorneys, said in a statement that “the disaster could have been very easily prevented.”

Geelong business latest target of anti-war activists

Police are investigating an alleged anti-war attack on a Geelong engineering business that does contract work with the defence industry.

Vision showing windows being smashed and graffiti sprayed on Marand Engineering’s office in the old Ford factory has been posted online.

Marand supplies multi-national defence companies such as BAE and Lockheed Martin.

A Victoria Police spokesperson says an investigation into the incident “remains ongoing.”

Israel bombs Beirut, kills Hamas leader in precision strike.

The audacious attack hit Hamas’s office in Musharafieh, a southern suburb of Beirut. The television channel for Lebanon’s Hezbollah group said Arouri had been assassinated on Tuesday evening in an explosion along with five others while attending a meeting. A Hamas official, Basem Naim, also said Arouri had been killed in the blast. The group said two other officials in its armed wing were also killed in the attack.
Hezbollah said the assassination was a “serious assault on Lebanon”, calling it a “dangerous development in the course of war between enemy and axis of resistance… [that] will not go without a response or punishment. The resistance has its finger on the trigger.”
Israeli military spokesperson, R Adm Daniel Hagari, said Israeli forces were in a state of “high readiness” and prepared for any scenario after the killing of Arouri.
