學生代表的提名期會由即日開始至2月28日。幹事會歡迎所有符合資格的理大全日制學生加入成為學生代表，為同學向學生發聲；學生代表作為香港理工大學與學生之間的橋樑，更能夠直接參與大學決策；成為學生代表除了能夠服務同學之外，更能學習溝通與遊說技巧等，如表現優秀，更可登錄至你的Co-curricular Transcript，是由校方發出的正式証明。
幹事會更就此為理工大學事務委員會（理委）招募新成員，不論你有否「上莊」但期望一同為理大社群付出的你，不妨考慮一下加入我們。理委的宗旨是提高會員的校政意識，推動會員參與校政。理委主要透過四大常務：統籌學生代表、處理投訴及收集意見、資料搜集和消息發佈。理委會統籌學生代表，協助學生代表為會員向校方反映意見，爭取更佳的校園生活環境；收集會員關於校政方面的意見，處理與校政有關的投訴；定期搜集及發佈校政新聞，讓會員獲得校政資訊 （同學亦可以追縱本會之IG @HKPUSU 及 @PolyU_Affairs 以獲取第一手資訊)。
報名資格：申請者必須為香港理工大學全日制學生包括學士學位或高級文憑學生
注意：參加學生代表者不等於參加理工大學事務委員會

The nomination period of Student Representatives (SR) starts from now until 28th of February, all eligible students are welcomed to join this recruitment scheme. Other than becoming Student Representative(s), you are also welcome to join the PolyU Affairs Committee (PolyUAC) as a committee member in the coming year. Student Representatives act as an anchor between the school and the students, in which the SRs can directly involve in the decision making within the PolyU. The perks of becoming student representative(s) allow one to serve his/her other classmates, practise communication in an official, persuasive language. You can also receive an official recognition from the PolyU within the Co-curricular transcript.
Regardless of your current position in the SU as a basic member or an Executive member, joining as committee members of the PolyUAC provides you a chance to serve the PolyU community, while also being a valuable chance for you to work in a committee.
The objective of the PolyUAC is to raise students’ awareness on PolyU affairs. We hope to achieve it with four routine responsibilities: to manage SRs of different school committees, assist SRs in handling students’ complaints, collection of suggestions and opinions, data researches and PolyU news release. Eligibility of becoming SR: Applicants must be Full-time Undergraduate or Higher Diploma Students studying in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Please note that: Application of Student Representative(s) and application to join the PolyUAC are independent options.
