你是否同意：終止美心集團在理大紅磡校園內之所有餐飲合約？
Referendum motion (2): Do you agree to terminate contracts of all the catering outlets operated by Maxim's Caterers Limited?
反修例運動歷經多月，絕大多數香港人對美心集團旗下經營之業務日益反感。肇因當初美心集團創辦人伍沾德長女伍淑清經常在公眾場合，如於聯合國人權理事會第42次會議內，出言指抗爭者破壞香港市民的平和生活，卻無視港共政府以極權粗暴手段等打壓施惡法、縱容警暴；其言論顛倒是非，出賣港人，引發港人眾怒，因而衍生香港人對美心集團加以抵制，向其象徵之政權勢力表達不滿。
伍淑清無視多次過百萬人的遊行集會，反公開聲稱香港示威者僅能代表全香港的一小撮人，更肯定香港警暴是合理合法。她甚曾要求學校勒令參與罷課的學生退學，及威脅辭退參與的教職員。伍不但支持警察濫暴，更指「他們（示威者）的腦子已經不清楚自己應該做甚麼事情」，深信年輕人們已被洗腦，需要「放棄」兩代的年輕人。
另外，美心集團曾經向理大膳食委員會在沒有任何數據及文件支持的情況，就十一月至一月的預測營業額虧損，及設備等向理大索償五百三十萬港元。
幹事會一直透過不同途徑收集同學對校內膳食之意見，同學對於美心集團營運之食堂意見一面倒，直斥美心集團出賣年輕人，不配在大學校園內開設食肆。另外，根據連日來學生會及膳食委員會學生代表的觀察，理大校園內的美心集團食肆在午飯時段卻是水靜鵝飛，餐廳更多次成為示威熱點。由此可見，理工學生已「放棄」了美心集團，理大生對美心食肆在校內的存在嗤之以鼻。有見於此，幹事會發起終止美心集團之食肆合約的公投，把出賣港人的紅資企業等趕離大學校園範圍。本會期望透過是次公投能達至以下的效果：
一、終止及拒絕美心集團承辦任何理大餐飲合約
二、把相關食堂之空間騰出，交由非藍餐飲商承包
三、帶動在校園建立黃色經濟圈的討論
四、反駁伍淑清相關「放棄言論」，並向港共政權傳達一個信息：「依加唔係你放棄我哋，你唔配放棄我哋，係民意放棄你」
以下是全民公投的詳情：
日期 ：2020 年 2 月 17 日至 21 日
時間：早上 11 時正下午 7 時正
投票平台 : mySurvey 電子投票 (與學生會週年大選一同舉行)
投票程序：
1. 學生會會員將在星期一上午10時30分前收到發自選舉委員會 (EC Election Committee) 的電郵；
2. 在電郵中點擊週年大選的投票鏈結，參與週年大選投票；
3. 是次公投之選票將置於週年大選所有選票後；
4. 會員在選票中只點擊一個選項，該選票方為有效；

Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill Movement have undergone for more than eight months, most HongKongers feel disgusted about the corporations under Maxim's Caterers Limited. It is all because Wu Suk-ching, the daughter of the founder of Maxim’s James Tak Wu, always publicly criticizes protestors with false accusations. For instance, during the 42th meeting of United Nations Human Rights Council, in front of the world, she slandered protestors that they “destroyed” the peaceful life of Hong Kong people while deliberately neglect the incompetence of Hong Kong Government and the Police Brutality. Her speech was inverted right and wong, and betrayed interests of Hong Kong citizens, have aroused lots of discontent. Therefore, a series of civil-initiated boycott against Maxim's Caterers Limited were called in order to show the displeasure about the Government.
Wu Suk-ching contempt demonstrations with millions of HongKongers and deceive others by saying that protestors could only reflect “a small part” of Hong Kong; while claimed that the Police Brutality is justifiable. She has even demanded school to expel students and teachers who have taken part in the general strike. Not only did Wu support police brutality, she also believed that adolescents have been “brainwashed”. Once she claimed that she has “given up” on the young generations in an interview.
Apart from that, Maxim's Caterers Limited has requested to claim up to HKD$ 5,300,000 from PolyU, for the projected lost of revenue along with facility maintenance fee between November and January without supported evidence.
The Union have been collecting opinions from students about the catering services at school. Most students have negative opinion on Maxim’s catering service and they also blamed Maxim’s for betraying the future generation of Hong Kong and hence deemed Maxim’s not qualified to serve as catering outlets inside the PolyU campus. Besides, under observation of Union and Student Representatives from the Catering Committee, Maxim’s PolyU catering outlets have become a solitary place; the student canteen have also become a popular site for social demonstrations. To conclude, students from PolyU has “given up” Maxim's Caterers Limited and pay no attention to the existence of its outlets. Referring to this situation, the Union hence initiated this referendum to terminate contract of outlets managed by Maxim's Caterers Limited. We hope to expel the CCP-funded corporations from the campus and hope to achieve the following goals in this referendum:
1. Terminate and reject Maxim's Caterers Limited to undertake any catering contract in PolyU
2. Empty the canteen for “Non-Blue”
