Regarding the armor-stacking mechanics, this is quite uncertain information. Since some people are already talking about it, I’ll share what I know and my perspective.

Disclaimer: This is not very reliable information, and the chances of it being incorrect are relatively high. That’s why I haven’t mentioned it before. Even now, it doesn’t mean I believe this to be 100% true. Please don’t take it as confirmed or spread it as if it’s certain.

Additionally, even if this is accurate at the moment, it’s about characters at least six months away, and plans can easily change during development.

Now, about the updates: devs does have plans to strengthen DOT mechanics in major updates before version 3.0, but I’m not sure about the specifics or if the plan will actually be implemented. After all, there are plenty of things Star Rail planned but didn’t follow through on.

Regarding Anaxa, he seems to be a regular crit/crit damage character rather than a DOT-focused one. So if there’s going to be a DOT character, it would likely be Cipher.

Cipher is expected to be released around version 3.3, but since it’s a character so far out, it’s hard to confirm anything. What I do know is that Cipher is a limited 5-star character.

Let’s talk about the 3.0 Quantum Fleet (Nothing burger but about Tribbie)

The main DPS is undoubtedly a 6-Eidolon Tribbie, as all six of her Eidolons are purely focused on increasing her damage output.

However, Tribbie’s mechanics make her rely heavily on her teammates. The more AoE attacks or faster Ultimate usage they have, the more triggers her additional damage will generate.

For team composition:
Survivability slot: Use Fu Xuan, as her Ultimate provides AoE damage while keeping the team alive.
Sub-DPS slot: Qingque is a great option. She can conserve skill points while dealing AoE damage efficiently.

Tribbie also benefits significantly from having a team buffer, and there’s no better option than a 6-Eidolon Sparkle. Without Sparkle, this team loses much of its synergy and potential.

In summary, the optimal team is:
6-Eidolon Tribbie + 6-Eidolon Sparkle + Fu Xuan + Qingque.

For substitutions:
Qingque can be replaced with 6-Eidolon Jade, though this team lacks a true debt collector.
In the future, Castorice could join this team, but it’s important to note that this setup would still make Tribbie the main DPS, with Castorice playing a supp-DD role.

Since so many people have been asking about this, I’ll just address it all at once. Honestly, I don’t know. However, Castorice is probably designed to team up with Sunday because she scales off HP or is a Remembrance character. Robin and Sparkle likely wouldn’t work well with her, so there aren’t many options left. If it’s not Sunday, there really aren’t many alternatives.

HSR’s design habits tend not to consider the gameplay experience for players who don’t have the key support character that released earlier. For example, Break Effect characters aren’t designed with the assumption that players don’t have Ruan Mei. Similarly, Feixiao isn’t designed for gameplay without Robin, and Black Swan isn’t designed without Kafka in mind. Instead, the game anticipates that reruns will provide those necessary supports.

However, I think many people are curious about how much weaker Castorice would be without Sunday compared to having Sunday. That’s not something that leakers can easily answer. Even if I knew her skills, I wouldn’t be able to calculate this myself. You’re better off waiting for the test server—there will naturally be people who can calculate these things for you by then.

As for Anaxa, he’s most likely compatible with the new Additional DMG relic set.

Credible Leaks Summary for Tribbie and Mydei

First, the new 3.1 Planars are confirmed to be Castorice and Tribbie. There’s no DoT planars.

Tribbie

Currently has HP scaling with skills that scale based on max HP. Basic attacks spread damage. The skill creates an aura effect and provides HP-scaling bonus damage similar to Dewdrop. The ultimate is comparable to Yunli or Unknown Domain Scepter. After an ally casts their ultimate, Tribbie triggers an AoE follow-up attack.

The buffs include DEF reduction, RES reduction, and DMG increase. There is no turn manipulation or ATK buff mechanics. Without any skill points, its base damage is not high.
