【The Union enquires makeup examinations arrangement in August】
Recently, the Union have received concerns about make-up examinations in August.
Earlier today, the Union representative have reflected students' opinion, that now Hong Kong have reached its' peak outbreak. Yesterday there were over 100 diagnoses / preliminary diagnoses cases of WuHan Pneumonia. The Union stated that the in-campus examinations will likely to put the invigilators and students in high risk of infection. We urge the school to reconsider the makeup-examination arrangements, including to replace it with alternative assessments or postpone the make-up examinations.
However, the school representative replied that there weren't any specific arrangements at the moment, the school shall consult task forces of the University and follow the protocols from the Government. The school will be announcing ASAP once the decision is made.
Should you have any inquiries, please contact the University Affairs Secretary Jeff (polyuasec@su.polyu.edu.hk).
